We love it here. RawWood is based in Grand Rapids, MI (Beer City USA), about a half hour from the golden sand shores of Lake Michigan. We're proud of our lakes, and a Michigander is never more than 85 miles from any of the Great Lakes. Being surrounded by so much natural beauty has inspired many of our models. You may notice the name of some sunglasses are inspired by local locations.
Most people probably think of Detroit when they think of Michigan
But the reality is, our state is far from what you hear on the news about Detroit or Flint. In fact, Good Morning America chose the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore as the most beautiful place in all of the United States!
We hope you get the chance to visit our Great Lakes State if you never have. We'll be here, embracing the beauty in our four awe-inspiring seasons.
